What is VIB Mobile Banking app?
VIB Mobile Banking app-MyVIB is a secure mobile banking application for all customers, though you are already a customer banking online with us or a new customer. The application is available for compatible iPhone with iOS 6.0+ and Android smart phones with OS 2.3+ and Windows Phone with OS 8.0+ and Apple Watch (User has already paired the watch to iPhone with iOS 8.2+).
How does the VIB Mobile Banking app differ from VIB Mobile Banking web based and Internet Banking?
Mobile Banking app can be looked at as an extension of VIB Internet banking service and is designed specifically for compatible iPhone, Android and Windows Phone. It gives you fast access to account information and use your device’s built in features to provide better banking experience on mobile device.
It is downloadable app for iPhone and Android and Windows Phone devices and that makes it different to the Mobile banking web based – a secure mobile friendly site at https://ib.vib.com.vn
Which devices are supported by VIB Mobile Banking app?
VIB Mobile banking app is supported on Apple iPhones with iOS 6.0+ and Android smartphones with OS 2.3+ and Windows Phone with OS 8.0+.
What do I need to use the VIB Mobile Banking app and what is the registration process?
To be able to use the VIB Mobile banking app, you will need to:
- - Have an active transactional account opened in VIB
- - Sign up for VIB Internet banking account with registered security device or free SMS code
It is not required to register the VIB Mobile Banking app if you already have VIB Internet banking account. It also means you just need to register once and use both services.
How do I access VIB Mobile Banking app?
You can access VIB Mobile Banking app by following these steps:
1. Download the app on from Apple App store (for iPhone devices) or Google Play store (for Android devices) or Windows Phone Store (for Windows Phone devices)
2. Select your preferred language
3. Accept to VIB Mobile app’s Terms and Conditions
4. Enter your VIB Internet banking details
5. Select LOGON
6. Set up your Mobile App access PIN
Does it cost anything to use VIB Mobile Banking app?
VIB officially apply the new fees for IB and MyVIB services from Jan 1st 2018. Click here
Please note that standard account transaction fees apply to transfers, top-up and bill payments.

What features are available on VIB Mobile Banking app?
You can carry out the following functions:
• View account balance
• View recent transaction history for the last 03 months
• Make transfer between your VIB’s accounts
• Make transfer to anyone having active VIB’s transactional account
• Make transfer to anyone having active local debit card
• Pay bills includes: Electricity, Water, Telecom, Insurance, Airline
• Top up your mobile or someone’s mobile phone
• Chat to customer help center live
• Locate your nearest VIB ATM/branch
• Apply for new products/services
• Access foreign exchange rates and interest rates
• Personalize home page’s photo
• Share your receipt to recipient via Facebook messenger, email or SMS

Are all the features of VIB Internet banking currently available on VIB Mobile banking app?
No. VIB Mobile Banking app includes some but not all available features of VIB Internet banking. However, it has the outstanding features that designed specifically for the app such as: Able to have wallpaper personalized with own photo of user choice, Instant top up your mobile phone with one click, share your receipt to recipient via Facebook, email or SMS and locate VIB’s nearest ATM/branch.
Security
Will I need to have a security device to user VIB Mobile Banking app?
Yes, you will. In order to use VIB Mobile banking app, you need to register for VIB Internet banking with a token security or register for free Internet Banking’s SMS.
How do I activate my security device?
If you register for a token security, the device will be activated before delivering.
If you register for free Internet Banking’s SMS, it is automated activated with the activation of your Internet Banking account.
Is it required OTP to validate my financial transactions?
OTP is applied for all financial transactions, including the transfers between your accounts, the payments to someone new, to a new biller or top up new mobile phone that are added in your address book.
Can I logon to VIB Mobile banking app and Internet banking at the same time?
No. As you use VIB Internet banking account to access VIB Mobile banking app so to ensure security we restricted number of users who can access VIB Mobile banking app/Internet banking to only one at a time.
What happens if I get locked out of VIB Mobile Banking app or forget my PIN?
Please select “Logon with your Internet Banking details” to logon and re-create the PIN;
If you forgot your password, select “reset password”, the app will take you to VIB Internet banking desktop version at ib.vib.com.vn and you may follows the instruction to reset your Internet Banking password.
What if I lose my phone or it’s stolen?
Please notify the Bank of the loss immediately and we will then temporary lock your account until further notices from you.
Why do I receive a message saying “The username does not exist or has been signed into another device”?
This message will be shown in the following circumstances:
 There is a problem retrieving your VIB Mobile banking app’s account, please contact our Customer help center.
 You are currently logging onto another iPhone or Android devices or Windows Phone, please make sure that your use of the VIB Mobile app is authorized. If you suspect an unauthorized use of the app, please contact our Customer help center.
Service
Can I access VIB Mobile Banking app when I’m overseas?
Yes, VIB Mobile banking app is accessible anywhere and anytime as long as you have Internet connection on your mobile phone. If you register for free Internet Banking’s SMS then please make sure that your mobile phone is set up for overseas use ie. Global data roaming is activated. Please contact your mobile phone provider to activate global roaming or to find out about their overseas use charges that may apply.
Why does it take so long to logon sometimes?
The best way to maximize the speed of accessing VIB Mobile Banking app is by using wifi and 3G network. Mobile network response times will still vary depending on the number of customers accessing the network at any given time.
The Bank has successfully tested this application on many different iPhone and Android and Windows Phone devices and under different circumstances. Performance depends upon a number of factors outside of the Bank’s control, including the customer’s:
• Type of network it is running on eg. 3G, 2G (GPRS), wifi
• Mobile network that is being used ie. Vinaphone, Mobifone, Viettel or Vietnam mobile
• The mobile network capacity at peak customer usage times
If you are concerned about the performance response times of your service, please check with your mobile phone service provider for more options to improve internet access speed.
What should I do if recipient claim they haven’t received the money I sent?
Please contact our customer help center at 1900 8180 or (+8424) 62585858 or visit your nearest VIB’s branch to make the claim.
Prior to the claim, please ensure that the recipient has checked the transaction details with their bank.
When can I receive the results from VIB for my claim?
The Bank will return the results to you within 10 working days applying for all financial transactions.
Who do I call if I have a problem?
Contact your network mobile phone provider if you have a:
• problem with your mobile internet connection
• technical query about your handset
• question about your data costs or your mobile phone bill
